Teaching procedures:

Stage 1 Lead-in

 Step 1. Answer some questions about shopping

  T: Do you like shopping?

  Ss: …

  T: Where do you go shopping?

  Ss: We usually go to the mall.

  T: If we go to the mall, we must…

  Ss: We must have money.

  T: Good. Where do we usually put money?

  Ss: In the wallet.

Stage 2 Presentation

Step 1 . What to buy

Task 1. Disuss what to buy for our family

     T: Boys and girls. Christmas is coming. Lets’ buy some presents for our family. What do you want to buy for your family?

     Ss: I want to buy … for my family.

Task 2. Make up a dialogue about the gifts

     T: Christmas is coming. What do you want to buy for your family?

       Work in pairs and make up a dialogue with your partner.

Step 2. Where to buy

Task 1. Learn different types of shops.

    T: If Miss Ren wants to buy a pair of shoes for my father. Where should I go?

    Ss: You should go to the shoe shop.

 T: Great. How about some flowers for my mother?

 Ss: Then you should go to the flower shop ……

Task 2. Finish part A on page 81. Check the answers.

Step 3 Practice

T: Now Millie and Simon are talking about buying gifts. Here are some questions. Let’s listen to the tape and find the answers.

Step 2. Listen again and fill in the blanks

Step 3. Make up a dialogue about choosing presents

T: Do you want to buy gifts for Eddie and Hobo?

Ss: Yes!

T: Please make up a conversation, here’s a model for you.

S1:  Christmas is coming. I want to buy a present for Eddie/Hobo .

S2:  What about … ?

S1:  I’m not sure. Maybe he’s not interested in…

S2:  Then you can buy… . I know he likes… .

S1:  Good idea! Thank you.               

S2:  You are welcome!

  Step 4. Act out the conversation

   T: Now you can have a role-play. Try to use some body language.

教学反思

12月3日上午第二节课，我在初一（6）班上了一节公开课。这节课的主题为购物，教学目标是掌握学会一些常见商店的名字，并且能运用所学的词汇及句式结构进行挑选礼物的情景对话。本节课开头，我设置了一个提问: Do you like shopping? 利用这个日常话题拉近了和学生的距离，缓解了他们对于新单元的陌生感。接着从购物地点的选择，再到支付方式，再到不同的兴趣爱好，通过环环相扣、由浅入深的教学方式，学生们能更清楚地掌握新单词的同时，句式结构也能操练到位。接下来，就是本节课的核心内容：不同商店名称的学习及情景对话。

恰逢圣诞节即将来临，而送礼物是圣诞节的传统习俗，于是我通过给家人买礼物的方式，引导学生说出应在哪些店选购礼物，比如说给爸爸在鞋店买鞋子，给妈妈在花店买花，给妹妹在礼品店挑选娃娃。尽可能地采用这种贴近日常的话题，学生能更清楚地对知识进行分类，类握的效果也会更好。紧接着后面还有个复习巩固，通过完成句子再一次强化所学知识。导入部分之后便是书本内容的学习。首先是一个听力，在听录音之前，我们先读了一遍题目，扫除了学生的听力障碍，并降低了听力的难度，让听力不再成为学生们的“拦路虎”。之后，通过两遍的听力，学生们基本掌握了对话的内容和逻辑结构，紧接着是围绕对话的若干练习，借助不同形式的题目，夯实基础，为之后的情景对话做准备。

本节课的情景对话有两个，一个是Hobo和Eddie的幽默小对话，另一个是Millie和Simon关于挑选礼物的对话。在这里，我设置了两个学生对话练习并给了相应模板，通过有意识的引导和鼓励，学生们能逐渐提高口语水平和自信心，这些都是促进英语进步的关键。最后环节是一个整体复习，利用图片形式回顾了本节课所学内容，并提出了给他人送礼物的几个小建议：送对方真正需要的、送有用且有意义的以及引导学生理性消费，同时这也是本节课的情感目标：合理规划，适度支出，引领学生树立正确的的消费观，做理性的消费者。

课后全体英语老师都参加了评课，几位经验丰富的老师对我这堂课的点评，使我受益匪浅，我不仅获得了不少宝贵经验及教学方法，也明白了自己的不足之处。相比较于上节课，有了三个月的实际经验，这次没那么紧张，自信心有所增加。另外，整堂课内容比较充实，各个环节操练到位，紧扣“课堂中心”的原则，让学生在课堂中就掌握了大部分知识，不需要课后花太多时间。但是还有方面需要注意，比如对于学生位置的排布：有些学生性格内向，坐在比较偏僻的位置，情景对话时也不积极主动，这个情况需要引起注意。还有就是对于学生的管理要更到位，争取让每个学生都有举手发言的机会，让他们能展现出自己的风采。

路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。教学生涯才刚刚开始，接下来我会用耐心、信心和恒心努力成为自己心中的那个优秀教师。
