Teaching aims:

Step 1 Warm up
T: Christmas is coming, what do you want to buy for your friend/family members? Why?
Step 2 Vocabulary
T: I see many girls in our class have hair clips.
(Ask students) Your hair clip looks pretty, can I take a look?
Do you know what color is it?-----Pink.
How much do they cost? (cheap)
My hair clip is different from yours.
Step 3 Listen and answer

Scene 1: You are in the clothes shop. The shopkeeper tells you the red dress is 100 yuan and matches your T-shirt. You like it very much. Make a dialogue about this.
Scene 2: Your classmate Louis is often late for school. You want to buy a clock for him. You give the shopkeeper 30 yuan. Make a dialogue about this.
第七单元教学反思
本课是第七单元Reading第一课时,这一课时是跟shopping有关的话题,内容简单,课堂教学重点是学生要求掌握购物相关的表达,包括顾客用语和店员用语。在这一节课的设计上,我把它分为三部分。
第一部分是生词的引入。我采用了情景设置来引入生词。以与戴发夹的班级女生的对话展开,老师问“Can I take a look at your hair clip?”“What color is it?”“How much does it cost?”介绍hair clip, pink, take a look, match, How much do they cost, cheap, be different from 等生词。第二部分是两个对话的听力练习。两篇会话分别用听和问答的方式展开,而后采用skimming, scanning并且完成P83练习的形式,使学生对课文内容有初步了解。而后跟读,分角色朗读等形式,巩固单词,句型等。本课的最后一部分是根据课文所学内容进行自编对话。对话之前,我先带着他们整理了一下顾客和消费者买东西的时候可能会用到的句型,然后设置了两个场景来练习这个对话。
整节课的完成度还是可以的。但是在第一部分的词汇教学中,我直接用板书的方式写下对话中的生词,这一点在上课之前其实已经觉得不妥了,应该采用更直观的图片的方式呈现在PPT上;对于单词的教学,还是有种“灌”给学生的感觉;对于cost这个单词没有进行详细的讲解,导致在后面的对话中,两个学生不知道怎么使用cost这个词。以后语言点的讲解其实可以穿插在前面的词汇讲解或者课文梳理中。在第二部分的对话处理中,我两个对话都采用听力问答的方式处理。其实可以多种形式处理两个对话,比如一个用听力形式,一个用skimming/scanning加填空的形式,这个部分处理方式比较单一。最后的对话练习,学生的积极性还是很高的。有些同学不仅仅能说出课本出现的购物用于,而且还出现自己生活中购物的用于,比如说“come again next time”,这一部分掌握得还是不错。后面的模拟场景对话完成得也比较好,达到了本课购物场景对话掌握得目的。
比起第一次上课,4班学生的课堂表现好了很多。但是仍然有个别男生喜欢插话,上课讲一些不着边际的话,以后上课的过程中要注意多加约束。另外,自己的英语发音也要多加练习,不能被学生的发音带跑偏。在教学中,要把主动权留给学生,这样比学生被动接受好得多,比如这节课中学生对单词的掌握就没有句型的掌握好。同时英语阅读中课堂提问也很重要,问题的设计要能引发学生兴趣,贴近学生水平。
